- Our Process
Stage 1: Initial Contact
Pressure-Free Research: Your journey begins with information gathering. We aim to make this initial step seamless and stress-free.
Empowered Decisions: You are in total control. This is your time to ask questions and explore every available option.
Honest Guidance: Our close-knit team provides objective, realistic advice on what can (and cannot) be achieved through surgery.
Stage 2: Consultation
Flexible Locations: Consultations are available at convenient times in Dubai at Genesis Healthcare Centre.
Thorough Planning: We believe choosing the right treatment is as vital as the surgery itself. Expect at least two meetings before any final decisions are made.
Transparent Fees: You are only charged for the first consultation; all subsequent pre-op and follow-up meetings are included in your care.
Preparation: We encourage you to use our online guides and bring a written list of questions to your appointment.
Stage 3: Day of Surgery
Detailed Preparation: With a clear plan and thorough consent process, you can arrive feeling confident and relaxed.
Immediate Post-Op: After a brief stay in recovery, you will move to a private room where nurses will monitor your pain and assist with surgical garments.
Early Mobilisation: While you may have a temporary IV for fluids, we will encourage you to eat, drink, and move around shortly after surgery.
Safety Measures: For overnight stays, standard protocols (like blood-thinning injections) are used to minimize the risk of clots.
Stage 4: Post-Discharge Support
Scheduled Follow-ups: We handle all logistics for your wound checks, typically scheduled at the one-week and two-to-three-week marks.
Continuous Access: You will have direct contact numbers for the hospital and the surgical PA for any daytime questions or concerns.
Personalized Care: We remain by your side during the transition from hospital to home to ensure you feel supported and reassured.
Stage 5: Recovery & Aftercare
The Power of Rest: Healing requires a pause from your daily routine; overexertion too early can lead to complications.
Hygiene & Garments: Support garments must be worn 24/7 for six weeks. You may shower after 24 hours, provided you dry surgical tapes thoroughly with a cool hairdryer.
Activity Milestones:
- Walking: Encouraged immediately (short distances only).
- Exercise: Most heavy lifting and intense workouts must be avoided for 6 weeks.
- Procedure-Specifics: Some light exercises (like lower-body work after breast surgery) may be safe after 2 weeks, while tummy tucks require a longer rest period.
Gradual Return: Always consult with the surgeon before resuming specific exercises to ensure they are safe for your stage of healing.
